This volume describes 18 families, 235 genera and 1765 species. It covers the large and well known families of Proteaceae, Myrtaceae, Rutaceae and Fabaceae. These families, with their prominent genera of Eucalyptus, Acacia, Grevillea, Banksia Boronia and various pea flowers, contribute greatly to the 'Australian' landscape. This revision provides up-to-date descriptions, accepted names and illustrations of all 1765 species, together with colour photographs of over 250 species.
