About this book

Language: German

Volume 143 provides an illustrated catalogue to fossils of Haramiyidans, some of the earliest known herbivores amongst basal mammals. When Volume 127 was published, they were still considered a suborder of the Multituberculata, with one family, three genera and five species described. Nowadays considered an order to itself, tesearch efforts since then have increased these numbers to 2 suborders, 2 superfamilies, 5 families, 8 genera, and 11 species, which are described here.
