Some interesting species are delineated in genus Cortinarius: C. lilacinovelatus (subgenus Phlegmacium, section Calochroi), C. claviceps, C. eliae, C. crassorum, C. pseudoscauroïdes, C. schaefferi (subgenus Phlegmacium, section Patibiles) and C. pseudosuillus (subgenus Sericeocybe, section Strenuipedes); in genus Russula: R. atropurpurea var. atropurpurea and var. atropurpuroides, R. knauthii and R. atropurpurina (section Atropurpurinae), R. artesiana, R. pantherina, and R. ochroflavescens (section Melliolentinae).
