Cortinarius azureovelatus var. subcaligatus, C. perrugatus, C. eucaerulescens, C. caerulescentium, C. caesiopallescens (forma?), C. cyanoxanthus, C. permirus, C. hircinus var. hydrophilus, C. triformis reumauxii, C. rubicundus, C. testaceofractus, C. lacustris var. laceratus, C. hinnuleus, C. aciculisporus, C. aspilus, C. collybioides, C. conicoides, C. furfuraceus, C. incisior, C. pseudosafranopes, C. sordescentipes, C. insignitus, C. argumentosus, C. petroselineus f. conicopurpuratus, C. petroselineus f. radicipes.

Two new species and a new variety are proposed: C. cyanoxanthus, C. permirus (Section Caerulescentes) and C. lacustris var. laceratus (Section Hinnulei)
