About this book

This booklet provides a visual-only field guide, without further accompanying text, to 26 species of big cats found in the Indomalayan realm (one of the eight recognised biogeographic realms, extending across most of South and Southeast Asia and into the southern parts of East Asia). A distribution map based on IUCN data and an illustration by renowned nature artist Tomasz Cofta is provided for each species, with multiple images showing colour and pelage morphs where appropriate. The inside of the front cover gives a taxonomic list of the illustrated species, while the inside of the back cover shows a size comparison between different representatives of these groups.
