About this book

Language: Bilingual in English and Finnish

The last volume includes, in addition to the larvae of Noctuini and Agrotini, additions to volumes 1 and 2. The phylogenetics of Noctuidae were studied on the basis of morphology, mouth part structure, and chaetotaxy. Maria Heikkilä wrote a special section on cladistics and Lauri Kaila built consensus trees based on the included matrix data. There is also a section on photographing larvae. The index covers all three volumes.
