The following Cerambycidae are described as new: Pseudossibia obscurata gen. n., sp. n. (Smodicini – Mocambique), Leptoeme schawalleri sp. n. (Oemini – RSA), Stenocoptoeme zamioides gen. n., sp. n. (Oemini – Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Cameroon), Lygrus rugosiscapus sp. n. (Oemini – Namibia), Lygrus obscurus sp. n. (Oemini – RSA), Taurotagus gabunensis sp. n. (Cerambycini – Gabon), Coelodoniella garnieri gen. n., sp. n. (Cerambycini – Togo, Tanzania), Sternangustum delahayei sp. n. (Callidiopini – Gabun), Sternangustum pilosum sp. n. (Callidiopini – Liberia) and Afromalorchus bispinosus sp. n. (Molorchini – Gabon).

The subspecies Prosopocera (Alphitopola) wahlbergi somalica Breuning & Teocchi, 1983 is raised to Prosopocera somalica sp. prop. and the variability known till now of Prosopocera (Alphitopola) superba Breuning, 1947 is discussed. Finally two synonymies are established: Micronoemia albosignata Aurivillius, 1922 = Nethinius madli Adlbauer, 2004 as well as Micronoemia glauca Aurivillius, 1922 = Nethinius seychellensis Adlbauer 2004 (Disteniidae).
