About this book

Language: Catalan

The Mediterranean region covers an area of about two million square kilometers and accounts for only 1% of the planet's surface, but one can find 20% of the vascular flora from around the world here. That is why the Mediterranean is considered one of the main biodiversity hotspots on Earth. In this region, the island territories combine diversity with exclusivity, as they contain many endemic species. This is a field guide to Menorca's flora, that will help readers understand and get to know this unique plant community.
