18 years in the making, the author has produced a two-volume publication describing the life of 240 bird species and the mapping of their nesting sites in Hungary. These volumes detail nest and egg types, documented with photos, the size of the nests of the various species (i.e. the number of eggs laid), the period and duration of nesting, and the breeding of the nest, and the success of all these, i.e. the number of hatched eggs.

Haraszthy László 18 éves munkája során készült el a két kötetes kiadvány, mely 240 madárfaj életéről és fészkelőhelyének feltérképezéséről ad leírást. A kötetekben a fészek- és tojástípusokat rendszerező leírások mellett fotókkal dokumentálva, a különböző fajokra jellemző fészekaljak nagyságát, vagyis a lerakott tojások számát, a kotlás, valamint a fiókanevelés időszakát és időtartalmát és mindezek sikerességét, vagyis a kirepülő fiókák számát , több mint 800 oldalon keresztül ismerhetik meg a madárvilág iránt érdeklődők.
