About this book

Building on the success of NESBReC's previous dragonfly and damselfly atlas, the Mammal Atlas of North-East Scotland and the Cairngorms includes distribution maps for individual species together with species accounts written by local experts. The area covered by the Atlas is Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen City, Moray and the Cairngorms National Park. Currently, 43 species of mammal are present in North-East Scotland and they are an important part of our fauna.
