Marine and Freshwater Molluscs of the French Caribbean is the first complete inventory of the aquatic malacological fauna from Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Maarten and St Barthelemy Islands.
Richly illustrated with 5,739 photos and drawings, it is the result of more than 35 years of samplings and expeditions. This inventory gathers 2,292 species including 130 taxa newly described. All species have been reported from the French West Indian Islands. It consists of two volumes of 398 and 390 pages. This work has been published with the help of the Centre National du Livre, the Agence Française de la Biodiversité, the Region Guadeloupe, the Deal of Martinica and the National Park of Guadeloupe.
