About this product

This Multi-Parameter Benchtop Photometer measures up to 37 of the most important water quality parameters. The system is incredibly user-friendly with method selections and set up modes clearly displayed on the LCD screen. The measuring procedure for each method is also displayed on the LCD, taking the user through the process, step-by-step. A help button allows the user to view context sensitive help at any point during the measurement process. Automatic conversion of readings to other chemical forms eliminates confusion and contributes to overall ease of use.

Up to 1000 data points can be logged on the photometer and then transferred to a mass storage device or PC using a USB cable. The unit can run on mains power via the USB port or on the internal rechargeable lithium polymer battery for use in the field.

HI-83300 is a compact, multi-parameter photometer for use in the lab or in the field. The meter is one of the most advanced photometers available with an innovative optical design that utilises a reference detector and focusing lens to eliminate errors from changes in the light source and from imperfections in the glass cuvette.

From Aluminium to Zinc, the HI-83300 benchtop photometer measures 37 water quality parameters using 60 different methods. The photometer features an innovative optical system that uses LEDs, narrow band interference filters, and a focusing lens. It also has a silicon photodetector for absorbance measurement and a reference detector to maintain a consistent light source. It ensures accurate and repeatable photometric readings every time.

A digital pH electrode input allows the user to measure pH by a traditional glass electrode.

The HI-83300 offers an absorbance measuring mode that allows for CAL Check standards to be used to validate the performance of the system. The absorbance mode allows the user to select one of the five wavelengths of light (420 nm, 466 nm, 525 nm, 575 nm, and 610 nm) to measure and plot their own concentration versus absorbance mode. This is useful for users with their own chemical method and for educators to teach the concept of absorbance by using the Beer-Lambert Law.

Please note, photometers are supplied without reagents but they are available separately.
