This book describes 123 new species and subspecies, one new genus, and one new subgenus of marine, freshwater, and land snails from countries including Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Japan, Taiwan and Vietnam. These new species are completely different from those in previous books and are illustrated on 63 colour plates and described in 78 pages. Among the new species, there are 77 new marine shells, 41 new land snails, five new freshwater shells and 18 bivalved shells. Each new taxon is presented with its scientific name, locality, size, habitat, diagnosis, description, comparison, colour photo and museum registration number. Thirty-six typical new species with nice patterns and assorted colours are illustrated on the back cover.
