About this product

Please note, we cannot guarantee that the cellular functions of this camera will operate in areas not well served by cellular networks.

The Num'axes PIE1051 is an impressive cellular trail camera, featuring a multi-operator SIM card (included), 2G, 3G, and 4G capabilities, and four available data plans allowing the remote transfer of photos and videos via a free Android and iOS app.

With adjustable photo resolution of 8, 12, or 24MP, video resolution of HD720p or full HD 1080p, the PIE1051 is capable of producing impressive images during the day or night. By utilising a cellular signal and free app, the camera can alert the user to activity and remotely transmit photos and videos. The included multi-operator SIM can select the optimum cell network in the area, optimising speed, reliability and coverage. The free Num'axes app (available for iOS and Android) allows you to modify camera settings, configure transmission settings, monitor data usage, and view and sort images. The number of photos that can be transferred in a month can be adjusted through four data plans, starting at only £3.50 a month. Media can also be stored on the camera using an SD card with storage between 4 and 32GB.

The PIE1051 has an impressive array of specifications, with a solid 0.5s trigger speed ensuring most animals will be captured without issue, 20m detection range, and 100field of view. There are a wide range of customisable settings, including PIR sensor sensitivity, video length (0.5-59s), multi-shot* options and time lapse mode. The integrated full colour screen allow photos and videos to be easily tested in the field, and for settings to be adjusted.

Also available as a starter bundle which includes eight AA lithium batteries and a 32GB micro SD card.

Note: Although rechargeable batteries (of at least 2500mAh) can be used with trail cameras, they are not recommended due to their lower capacity and voltage. Therefore they are unlikely to operate the camera at its full potential, or as reliably when compared with standard Lithium batteries. If the use of rechargeable batteries is necessary we recommend Panasonic Eneloop Pro batteries which have been shown to perform well with trail cameras. Additionally, we recommend using an SD card with a minimum write speed of 10MB/s (also labelled as U1 or class 10).

*Included Num'axes SIM card not compatible with multishot mode.
