Op Zoek naar Vlinders en Libellen is a tour of the most beautiful butterfly and dragonfly areas in the Netherlands. For each area, the authors provide a short description and discus the species of butterfly, moth, and dragonfly found here. Op Zoek naar Vlinders en Libellen neemt je mee naar mooie vlinder- en libellengebieden in Nederland. Van de duinen in het westen tot de veengebieden in het oosten en van de Sint-Pietersberg in Zuid-Limburg tot het Lauwersmeer in het noorden: alle provincies komen aan bod. Van elk gebied is een korte beschrijving opgenomen en worden de dagvlinders, nachtvlinders en libellen besproken die er voorkomen.
