This pocket hand lens from Opticron features a 26mm, fully coated three element (triplet) glass lens for excellent image brightness, resolution, and colour correction, and 6 LEDs to illuminate subjects in low light. Constructed from a lightweight allow with brushed steel housing and supplied with a hard leather case, it is able to withstand the rigours of field work and makes a great addition to any naturalist's field kit, whether they are studying plants, insects, or mammal signs, or any other field. 10x magnification makes this lens excellent for a wide variety of applications, and the addition of a UV light source allows for the ability to appreciate organisms with fluorescent properties.
To use a hand lens, hold it close to your eye then bring the specimen up to the lens until the point where it is in focus.
Supplied with a hard leather case and battery cover key. Features a metal loop for the attachment of a lanyard.
