About this book

Language: German

Red Lists are today an indispensable part of public discussion. They serve to inform about endangered species, point out the need for action and research, and increase the political significance of nature conservation. This series, published by the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (Bundesamt für Naturschutz), is based on five sub-volumes.

Volume 2 of the Rote Liste Gefährdeter Tiere, Pflanzen und Pilze Deutschlands analyzes the conservation status of the many species groups in the German marine area: fish, invertebrates and large algae together are representatives of zoology and botany in this volume of marine organisms. These are all groups for which sufficient data is available and there are experts working in this area.
