Seit den Arbeiten des Lavanttaler Schmetterlingsforschers Gabriel Höfner, der zwischen 1903 und 1910 Grundlegendes zur Gruppe der Kleinschmetterlinge vorgelegt hat, ist nichts Vergleichbares zur Verbreitung und Biologie der Schmetterlinge veröffentlicht worden.
