About this book

Language: German

The seventh volume in the Seltene Vögel in Deutschland series provides a further comprehensive overview of the occurrence of rarities in Germany. The core contribution of the 68-page report is the compilation of the evidence of rare bird species in Germany in 2017. In addition to the first evidence of Asiatic scoter and brown booby and the third observation of Asian desert warbler and grey-necked bunting, the first evidence of breeding by spectacled warblers and black-headed buntings is particularly noteworthy for Germany. This and several hundred other documents are presented in detail and with numerous photos and additional graphics and maps.
