About this book

Language: Russian

Sezonnaia Xhizn' Prirody Verkhnei Kolymy is devoted to the analysis of phenological phenomena in the Upper Kolyma region. Average long-term phenological data are presented. The effects of interannual and year-by-year changes of temperatures, precipitation and other weather conditions on phenology are analyzed for the main forest-forming, medicinal and fruit plants. The bias of phenological trends and the analysis of synchronous fluctuations of the timing of phenological events show certain changes caused by the warming of local climate. Phenological anomalies are also studied. The book will be of interest to botanists, ecology and natural resources experts, local geography specialists, nature reserves personnel, biology and geography teachers.
