Sharpshooter Leafhoppers (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Cicadellinae) An Illustrated Checklist Part 1: Old World Cicadellini is the first of three volumes that provide an illustrated checklist to the colourful insects of the subfamily Cicadellinae. This first volume includes an introduction to the Cicadellinae and their study, and and illustrated checklist of Old World species.

The illustrated checklist provides images of as many species as were available (over 90%), including type material. All synonymy is included, as are currently known distributions. A full bibliography is also provided.
