Solid waste management is, from many perspectives, an international mission. Pollutants and emissions do not know of any borders, they move from country to country causing problems. We are all involved in the important task to protect the environment from these emissions - emissions coming from different products which finally have turned into waste. Wastes are simply discarded products and the design of a product can have a very significant impact on the nature of the waste that is produced. This text attempts to show how to manage these different types of solid waste emissions.
