About this book

Language: German

It is the endless flocks of birds that fly in artistic maneuvers across the vastness of the mudflats, the oystercatchers with their piercing calls or the large flocks of geese that rest in front of the backdrop of the Westerhever lighthouse. It is the flushing area with the flotsam, the silt on which the wading bird tracks are drawn and the feathers on the beach. It is the sheep, the vastness of the landscape, the cloud images and orchid meadows on the North Sea coast that this book tells about.

It is a story of the seasons in the landscape at the horizon, which documents the migration of birds in this unique natural landscape with delicate watercolours, pencil drawings and accompanying texts.
