About this book

Presents the results of numerous studies on systematics and karyology, geography and chorology, as well as phytosociology, ecology and some aspects of biology of native and introduced grasses occurring in Poland. Additionally, two works by Polish botanists, although made on the material from Mongolia and Antarctica, are included. This volume is in part based upon the lectures and posters presented during the All Polish Scientific Meeting held on November, 2000 in Kraków. The participants agreed that a book on these topics will be of interest to a variety of botanists in Poland and abroad.
