About this product

The Swarovski EL (Ergonomic, Light) Binocular range is an updated and technically refined design of the highly popular EL Swarovision Binoculars, making them the greatest EL range ever. Swarovski optics are renowned for their razor-sharp, high quality images with maximum colour fidelity as a result of using only the finest, high-precision lenses and prisms. The enhanced ergonomic design, which includes the EL wrap-around grip, make for a pair of binoculars that offer an unprecedented degree of comfort whilst watching wildlife. The dedication to optics, functionality and ergonomics has created a product definitely worth getting excited about. Featuring Swarovision, Swarobright and Swaroclean technologies.

Available with 42mm or 50mm diameter lens. The 42mm models are extremely versatile and provide a great option both during the daytime and at twilight. The 50mm binoculars are incredibly compact for a model with these specifications and provide strong magnification options. They are excellent for use over longer distances and in low light conditions.

Swarovision

Field flattener lenses- The field flattener lenses create a virtually even image, so that high contrast is extended to the periphery of the lens. This means that the finest structures and smallest details are reproduced to the very edge of the lens and the need for constant refocusing is eliminated so you can register the tiniest detail in an instant. This is useful for picking out key identifying features in confusion species when birding or observing other animals.

HD optics - The SWAROVISION HD lenses use fluoride glass to minimise colour fringing and ensure maximum colour fidelity with improved resolution and contrast. This translates into an even higher contrast image.

Eye Relief Plus - The EL family boasts a larger exit pupil distance than other binoculars to allow wearers of spectacles a full wide angle field of view and the opportunity to benefit from the peripheral lens definition. The removable twist eyecups have four stages so that you can adjust your eyepoint precisely.

Swarobright

Coating for maximum color fidelity across the whole light spectrum. This ensures that bright, true to life colours are observed, particularly beneficial for when viewing colourful, tropical species of avifauna, and for aiding species identification. SWAROVSKI OPTIK was the first manufacturer in the world to use this technology in series production.

Swaroclean

Often we bring our optics up against testing elements when using them in the field. Splashes of mud, drops of rain or the sea air can lead to a layer of grease forming on the glass. The SWAROCLEAN coating on the outer surface of the lens provides a non-stick effect to make it easier to clean away these impurities.
