About this book

In April 2015, Mascot Media published their hare-themed printmaking collection entitled The Artful Hare, which was the largest collection of hare images ever committed to print. The number of artists contributing to the new version has risen to 89 and the number of original prints included has exceeded 400. As well as 'new' artists appearing for the first time, many of those contributing to the original book have provided fresh images.

Each artist comments on their particular fascination with the animal, which is becoming increasingly rare but is still classed as game. The variety and quality of the work is remarkable, with linocuts, wood engravings, collagraphs, woodcuts, etchings and screenprints.
