Margareta Séquin is at the San Francisco State University, San Francisco, USA. She gained her PhD in Organic Chemistry, with an emphasis on Natural Products Chemistry and completed a Postdoctoral degree in Heterocyclic Chemistry and Food Chemistry. She has been a College level lecturer in organic chemistry for 32 years, teaching also non-majors plant chemistry and graduate courses in natural products chemistry. She has been an instructor of field seminars in plant chemistry for 15 years and a Docent at Regional Parks Botanic Garden for 15 years.
