This book provides a thorough addition to the Trochoidean family Colloniidae, which resulted in the description of a further 33 species of molluscs. The family now comprises 4 subfamilies, 33 genera and 288 species. The large amount of material for this study was mainly collected during the various expeditions of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, Paris in the Indo-Pacific region.
