The Manazuru peninsula lies in the western part of the Kanagawa prefecture in Japan. The tip of this peninsula separates Sagami Bay from a stretch of open-water known as Sagami-nada. The town of Manazuru hosts a shell museum with some 50,000 specimens belonging to 4500 species and this book contains a selection of 303 of the most remarkable shells in their collection.

303種の貝類を掲載しています。
