Biography

Daniel I. Stein is an environmental scientist with almost two decades of experience protecting and preserving natural spaces. He has spent his career in the environmental and public health sectors, helping others connect with nature in a safe and accessible way. With a Master's Degree in Environmental Science and experience teaching at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, he continues to be a lifelong learner, sharing his knowledge through public service, teaching, and writing books for anyone interested in discovering the world around them. He currently resides on the West Coast of Canada with his wife, where they enjoy daily nature walks and experimenting in their 'test kitchen'.
