Northwest Argentina deserved a bird guide. More than 600 species, distributed across its diverse habitats, presented a challenge. It was eagerly anticipated by its residents and the thousands of visitors who explore its jungle and mountain landscapes, its lagoons and streams, its mysteries. This field guide, which has been years in the making, is the result of the efforts of a team comprised of Tito Narosky, renowned author of the most popular guides in Latin America, Pedro Blendinger, a notable specialist in the region's birdlife, and dozens of outstanding nature photographers, coordinated by Daniel Luciano.
