About this book

This large coffee table book, with almost 400 full colour pages, over 25,000 words and 650 images, describes Botswana's principal tourist attractions – world heritage sites, game reserves, national parks, wildlife and bird sanctuaries and national monuments which, along with adjoining wildlife management areas, make up almost half of the country. The nine chapters take the reader on a journey of the history, development and current biodiversity status of Botswana's various protected areas and provides the visitor with a beautiful insight into wildlife and historical tourism in a country bestowed with incredible fauna, flora, natural and cultural wealth and heritage.

  • Truly Dreadful
By Russell 13 Aug 2021 Written for Hardback
A hotch-potch of poor photos. It's as if the author hadn't visited all these places. It's as though he lost his main photographic contributor and 400 photos last moment and just filled in with anything. The wording is awful and looks as if copied from other websites. Waste of money in my view.
