About this book

Since F. C. Page published an Illustrated Key to Freshwater and Soil Amoebae in 1976, many more research reports with taxonomic significance have appeared. Thus, despite familiar nomenclature, the taxonomy of gymnamoebae has changed enough to make the new key a successor to the 1976 publication rather than a revision.
