About this book

Language: Bilingual in English and Italian; with triliingual preface in English, Italian, and Spanish

With 121 species represented in this volume this series now treats a total of 877 species. With the next volume the authors hope to reach 1000 species. Although it gets more and more difficult to gather new material, they intend to continue this undertaking. In this volume they have almost finished the genus Chauvetia and figured many species belonging to the Rissoidae (Pusilina, Rissoa, Setia) and the Veneridae (Venerupis, Polititapes, Ruditapes). They also show some Polyplacophora that until now had been neglected.
