This latest advanced Flowmeter retains all of the functions of the original with added improvements to make use in the field easier and more accessible. The large digital display gives clear readouts of results at a glance and will now also display water temperature with the integrated propeller thermometer. There is an integrated 4MB flash-drive which will record up to half a million discrete flow and temperature recordings and compile them into a CSV. file upon export. This storage is power independent so you can be sure that your recordings are safe even if power to the device is lost. All settings and inputs to the device are made through prominant tactile buttons which can be pressed through gloves or with cold/wet hands.

Connection is made from the main unit through a 1m cable to the impeller stick, which will give readings in m/s, mph in either auto or manual logging. Auto logging allows pre-programmed interval logging on pre-determined time points, which are then saved in CSV. format. whereas manual takes recordings whenever you choose to take them. All data records are imported to a computer device through the mini USB cable directly from the device.
