The Electrofishing Net is designed for use with an electrofishing backpack when conducting electrofishing surveys. It has a pentagonal net head measuring 250 mm in width, with a 1.22 m wooden handle that is covered in rubber insulation, ensuring a good grip even when wet.

The net bag is made from soft, woven fry-mesh and has 5 mm holes. It is attached to the frame with a strong hook and loop fastener and can be easily removed for washing or replacement. The bag has a depth of 300 mm to ensure all catch is safely retrieved from the survey area.
