The Small Mammal Holding Bag is suitable for small birds, reptiles and bats as well as small mammals. The bag is manufactured from medium weight calico cotton with a 2mm cord drawstring top and measures 20 x 25cm.

Nice bag, shame about the drawstring

Good quality, lightweight, soft cotton holding bags. Ideal for hazel dormice and other small mammals. However, the product is let down by the choice of drawstring, which I had to replace before use. The original drawstring was 4.5 mm diameter, and weighed 7.5 g - considering that the mammals being weighing are often lighter in weight it seems to be a bit excessive. I replaced it with a length of 3 mm paracord, which seems to be more than adequate.
