The Amphibian Net is perfectly designed for the safe capture of newts, frogs and toads. Amphibians can be delicate to handle and easily harmed, and some larger newt species are protected species and must be handled correctly.

The Amphibian Net frame has a 300mm wide head and, unlike our other Professional hand net frames, it does not have an inner frame for bag attachment. Instead, the bag attaches by a wide, hook-and-loop collar. This prevents animals from being caught between the frame and bag. The seams have been carefully placed so that they do not come into contact with the front edge of the net, and the body material of the bag is a soft 2mm mesh.
