Wild Orchids of Assam is the first ever comprehensive photographic and taxonomic treatment with an up-to-date enumeration of the orchids of Assam, India. All the species are enumerated with names of genera listed alphabetically and, again, species under each genus listed alphabetically. In the enumeration, generic names are provided with the author citation and generic description only, while species binomials are followed by author citation, common English name, species description, flowering and fruiting, habitat, status, distribution in Assam and general distribution.
