The present study reports on the aquatic and marshland floristic diversity of Eastern Rajasthan, India. In this volume the classification followed in general is that by Bentham and Hooker, however new generic, specific and family names have been recognized as followed by Hutchinson and other modern taxonomists. Plates showing field photographs of some interesting and typical species of the area have been incorporated. This volume covers rare and threatened plants of the area that have been described along with thorough discussions on the reasons for their endangerment. The book also includesfloristic data based on exhaustive systematic surveys.
