Ever-increasing interest in oceanography and marine biology and their relevance to global environmental issues creates a demand for authoritative reviews summarising the results of recent research. Oceanography and Marine Biology: An Annual Review has catered to this demand since its founding by the late Harold Barnes fifty years ago. Biography
Robin N. Gibson is an Honorary Research Fellow at the Scottish Association for Marine Science, Dunstaffnage Marine Laboratory, Oban, Scotland. His research interests include ecological analysis of community structure and feeding relationships of shallow water fish populations on rocky and sandy shores world-wide and analysis of behavior of shallow water species in field and laboratory conditions.
