This volume is the third to describe Chinese leafhoppers, family Cicadellidae, covering members of the subfamilies Hylicinae, Stegelytrinae, and Selenocephalinae. A general part briefly describes the research history, morphological characteristics, related taxonomic systems and geographical distribution of various groups. The species monographs systematically describe the morphological characteristics and geographical distribution of 152 species of insects in 40 genera and 3 subfamilies. Indices with vernacular and scientific names, as well as colour plates of adults, are included at the end.
