"[...] The real strength of the booklet is its tremendous accuracy, both in the maps and text which, from my experience, are spot-on. It is, of course, inevitable that a guide like this will become out-of-date – the Scops Owls that nest at the back of the Pollentia Hotel are unlikely to be still there in a few years time so buy it now, and use it within the next couple of years. The site coverage is very comprehensive, with perhaps only one good site missed – Castell de Santueri, which has the only breeding Alpine Swifts on Mallorca. As a pedant, I was pleased to see the Mallorquin place names used throughout. [...]"
