The Ecuadorian members of Compositae-Eupatorieae are revised. The 36 genera are treated in alphabetical order, comprising altogether 201 species: Adenostemma (4 spp.), Ageratina (26 ssp.), Ageratum (2 ssp.), Aristeguietia (9 ssp.), Asplundianthus (3 ssp.), Austroeupatorium (2 ssp.), Ayapana (3 ssp.), Ayapanopsis (3 ssp.), Badilloa (2 ssp.), Bartlettina (1 sp.), Brickellia (1 sp.), Chromolaena (5 ssp.), Condylidium (1 sp.), Condylopodium (1 sp.), Critonia (3 ssp.), Critoniella (2 ssp.), Cronquistianthus (9 ssp.), Crossothamnus (1 sp.), Fleischmannia (14 ssp.), Gongrostylus (1 sp.), Grosvenoria (4 ssp.), Guevaria (3 ssp.), Hebeclinium (6 ssp.), Heterocondylus (1 sp.), Isocarpha (2 ssp.), Kaunia (2 ssp.), Koanophyllon (2 ssp.), Mikania (62 ssp.), Neomirandea (1 sp.), Ophryosporus (6 ssp.), Phalacraea (1 sp.), Polyanthina (1 sp.), Praxelis (0 sp.), Sciadocephala (4 ssp.), Stevia (12 ssp.), and Tuberostylis (1 sp.). Three species are described as new: Asplundianthus smilacinoides H. Rob., Fleischmannia loxensis H. Rob., and Stevia Anderssonii H. Roe. One new combination is made, Ayapanopsis thermarum (B.L. Rob.) H. Rob. Keys, descriptions and specimen citations are given for all taxa. All genera are illustrated.
