This book contains almost 700 pages of illustrations (most of them pencil drawings, some of them made with a marker) and a large number of photographs, all made by the author. It describes the tracks and traces left by some 350 species. For some there is a great variety of different traces, for others only a drawing is given of the typical skull with the measurements to identify it.
