About this product

The Strike Force HD Pro X is a weatherproof, motion-activated trail camera that records HD videos (1600 x 900 HD+) and 20MP images onto an SD card (up to 512GB SDXC memory cards supported). It utilises a passive infrared (PIR) sensor that activates the camera whenever motion is sensed within its monitoring range. Records images and videos in full colour during the day and records in black and white at night using infrared LED illumination that is almost invisible to humans and wildlife.

The high-resolution 20MP pictures ensure wildlife shots of excellent quality and the 0.22 second trigger speed ensures that nothing will be missed. Video is shot in 1600 x 900 HD+ quality with sound and can be set to record for between 5 seconds and 2 minutes. At night, illumination is provided by low-glow infrared LEDs and the detection range is 36.5 meters. ‘Illuma-Smart Technology’ automatically adjusts IR Flash for seamless night photos. The powerful IR illumination allows you to choose your night image preference between Power Save, Long Range and Fast Motion settings to get an optimal picture. You can capture up to 8 multishot images and 4 rapid-fire images as well as set a time-lapse with the Strike Force HD's Timelapse Plus camera mode. This model features a 3.80 cm colour viewing screen on the front of the camera and a steel adjustable mounting bracket for easy set-up at the site. The delay between pictures is adjustable (between 1 second to 1 hour) and the picture information bar shows time, date, temperature, moon phase, and camera ID. This camera is powered by 6 x AA batteries. The case size is 10.7cm x 7.6cm x 6.3cm and is finished with a highly effective camo print exterior.

This camera is also available as a starter bundle which includes the trail camera, 8 x lithium AA batteries and a 32GB SD card.

Note: Although rechargeable batteries (of at least 2500mAh) can be used with trail cameras, they are not recommended due to their lower capacity and voltage. Therefore they are unlikely to operate the camera at its full potential, or as reliably when compared with standard lithium batteries. If the use of rechargeable batteries is necessary we recommend Panasonic Eneloop Pro batteries which have been shown to perform well with trail cameras.  Additionally, we recommend using an SD card with a minimum write speed of 10MB/s (also labelled as U1 or class 10).
