The order Insectivora is no longer recognised by biologists. It used to be an artificial collection of small, unspecialized and not very closely related insect-eating mammals, many members of which look a lot like each other due to convergent evolution. Subsequent taxonomic revisions have scattered its members over various other groups. The remaining species are now being referred to as the order Eulipotyphla by scientists, and include the hedgehogs, and various shrews and moles.
Since most people outside of scientific circles would still expect to find all these species grouped together, we follow this tradition, referring the whole group as "other insectivores", rather than Insectivora, though we recognise the group is, technically speaking, obsolete.
