About this product

The Batlogger WE X is designed for long-term monitoring of bats at wind turbine sites. Calls are recorded in full spectrum (312.5kHz, 16-bit, 10 - 150kHz) on one or two channels depending on the model chosen. A built-in microphone tester, air pressure and humidity sensor reassures you that everything is functioning correctly.

The main recording unit measures 10 x 20 x 25cm and weighs 2kg. The microphone is attached to a 5m cable which is also fitted with a mounting bracket, allowing it to be attached securely to the gondola.

The WE X comes with an integrated SIM card which allows for LTE connection to the internet. This means that you can monitor the recorder, change settings and download files from the comfort of your phone or office. This function requires an annual subscription to Batlogger Connect (see below for more information). 

Two options are available: the WE X1 (single recording channel and one microphone) and WE X2 (two recording channels and two microphones).
