About this book

Language: Spanish with bilingual keys in English and Spanish

This monograph is the second devoted to the Chrysomelidae, a beetle family with more than 37,000 species described and probably many more still undescribed. The peculiar generalities of the group are reported and 13 species of subfamily Eumolpinae and 163 of subfamily Chrysomelinae are dealt with. The keys for the identification of these species are included, as well as the illustrative drawings, and geographic distributions for all of them. Moreover, in most of the cases biological data of interest are also indicated. At the end of this book, there is a very extensive appendix of scientific nomenclature. Also, a recent bibliography is given complementing the first monography of Ibero-Balearic Chrysomelidae published in December 2000.
