About this book

Language: Spanish

Five years have elapsed since publication of the first edition of this book. Since then monographs have been published on different groups of Lepidoptera, which are part of the European fauna and to some extent have revolutionized the taxonomic classification. Recently, molecular genetics is having a dramatic impact on studies of species and speciation, and DNA barcoding is revealing a wealth of biodiversity, much of it previously unsuspected, in the form of cryptic species that are morphologically irrecognizable.
